To help our member health care centers improve their management capabilities, Integrated Health Partners contracts with MedPOINT Management, Inc. (MPM). A leading provider of management services to independent practice associations and health care networks, MPM represents over 3,100 contracted physicians and coordinates the delivery of health care for over 737,000 covered lives throughout Los Angeles, San Diego and Sonoma Counties.
Combining advanced technological solutions with proven expertise in health network management, MPM provides health center management, clinical, and administrative staff with the tools to work more efficiently in coordinating high-quality, cost effective, integrated care that results in improved patient outcomes. Optimizing Service Delivery
To optimize the processing and delivery of their services, health centers need to use the correct codes and send the data in the proper formats so health plans can properly process the information. MPM works directly with IHP member health care centers to ensure that all their services performed are fully and accurately transmitted and captured by the patient’s health plan.
MPM also works with our members to identify and close any gaps in processes and information. This enables them to generate collective reports that create an aggregate picture of the care they are rendering to the region’s safety net population. This information also helps communicate the value of the FQHCs to the community, health plans, and other funders, and assists in identifying areas for improvement and/or expansion of services from a population health management perspective.
