Governor Mike Leavitt and former CMS Administrator Mark McClellan are convening healthcare industry leaders to collaboratively advance accountable care.  As the accountable care movement progresses, many organizations are transitioning from “what to do” to “how to do it.”  The ACLC brings together the top ACO performers and industry leaders who know what it takes to succeed.

In collaborative forums and online interactions, members contribute their understanding and experience in the real world of accountable care implementation.  Members participate in creating a capabilities assessment tool, which will provide actionable metrics for members to assess their competency with value-based payments.  This project is commencing by identifying, defining, and creating a framework of the competencies all risk-bearing entities need to succeed.
